Arch Competition

So on Friday, I am competing in the Illinois Drafting Educators Association(IDEA) at JJC. 9 students from my class are going, 4 from Arch 1 and 5 from Arch 2. This is just regionals, so if we get a high enough score on Friday, then we'll go to state. I'm super nervous. My teacher thinks I'm going to make it to state, but we need to know how to do the roof detail and I haven't even started mine because we've only gone over it once in class! Aghh! And the elevations takes forever to do, especially because we can't bring premade blocks on a flash drive. How annoying. But I'm glad my teacher put me on 2D AutoCAD because that's what I've been using all year. Some people got Revit 3D and others have to do it on the drafting board. I guess I got a little bit lucky. Anyways, wish me luck!

I miss the Sims!

I haven't played the Sims in forever! I really am starting to miss it. And I got a new job 3 weeks ago and I work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday every week so I don't have any weekends to play since I just want to relax on Sunday. I reallly miss it though. I get off work tomorrow at 430 so I think I am going to play when I get home. I also have money now so I may buy Showtime! Ahhh anyways, I really need to create a new house. I haven't uploaded one to the exchange since the summer time! Wowwww

Real life stufff

So some real life stuff. Tomorrow starts my first day of my last semester of high school. Its pretty crazy! These 3 and a half years of high school have flown by, and its pretty scary. Its starting to feel like its really happening. Real life starts so soon and its crazy! My parents are kinda scared too because I'm their youngest kid. Ahhh, I'm so nervous. As much as I hate high school, its going to suck because once I graduate, its gone forever. Ah man hahha. I need to get a job so I can start saving for school! Blahhhhh this sucks. I kinda hope this semester goes slow, because first semester went so fast.

But omg! So I've had a D in french since like the second week of school, and I needed to get at least a 77 on the final. Well our grades were posted online last night, when I scrolled to my french grade and saw a C next to it, I was about to cry. I literally had tears forming in my eyes! Haha. I wads so freaking happy. Like...I've been working so hard for the past two months to bring my grades up because they were really bad at the beginning of the year, and I was especially struggling in french, which is why I'm happen with a C. I finished this semester with three As, two Bs and one C. I'm so proud of myself! I'm really going to try this last semester. I've never gotten straight As, and probably won't in high school$ I could if it weren't for french, but I don't think I'm going to finish with and A in french 4. Its too freaking hard. But I'm hoping for a B!

I'm excited and nervous for college. I wish my parents would like...talk to me about it, but they haven't, ever. All my friends think its strange that they haven't and they say their parents always talk to them about it. :/ and my oldest brother moved out 3 weeks ago to the city, so I never see him anymorem and he's always either at school or at work so I can't even text/call him. Its always really late when I can, but I always have school so I can't stay up late. But when I have talked to him about school, he said he'll help me with everything since our parents haven't even helped him so they won't help me. Ahhh thank good ness for him!

Welll, enough about real life. This is for sims. I didn't play at all even though I have had 5 days of schoolm all I did was clean up my game and now I just have one game. I'll play this week! I swear. Hahah I miss it.

Cleaning my game

I'm going to go through all of my saved games and pout all the houses I want to keep into the library, then delete all my games so I can just have one. I think they're making my game run slow. I have like 8 saved games hahaha

Its finals week, and of course I get super sick. I just have finals tomorrow, why couldn't I have gotten sick like..tomorrow at 12pm? Hopefully I feel better by Thursday, I wanted to play the Sims since I don't have school on Thursday or Friday. I'm not going to want to sit at my computer desk if I feel like this. Ugh

Yay!!

So, we have finals next Wednesday through Friday, but I only have finals on Wednesday! And we have Monday off for MLK day. So guess what that means? Lots of Simming time! Hopefully I'll be able to build a house and actually finish it and be happy about it! Eeee anyways yeah I made my project with the Sims! Its AWESOME! I'm presenting it to the class tomorrow! Wish me luck! I better get an A++++ hahah
